“SPRINGS OF RASUL GAMZATOV”
On October 3, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall will host a large-scale festive concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great poet Rasul Gamzatov. The musical-theatrical performance “Springs of Rasul Gamzatov” will be a bright event that will tell about the unique, original culture of Dagestan through the prism of the works of one of the most popular Soviet writers, People's Poet of Dagestan, winner of numerous awards Rasul Gamzatov. Popular songs of famous composers Raymond Pauls, Oskar Feltsman, Yuri Antonov, Alexandra Pakhmutova, Jan Frenkel, who wrote music to Gamzatov's poems, will be performed. The richness and diversity of national culture will be presented by the best creative collectives of Dagestan. The world-famous State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble of Dagestan “Lezginka”, winner of 48 world-famous folklore dance festivals among professional groups, will demonstrate its skills. Performances of the State Song and Dance Ensemble “Dagestan”, Dagestan State Male Choir “Singing Charoda”, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tagir Kurachev, leading dancers and vocalists will create the atmosphere of an unforgettable holiday.
