“Violoncelles, Vibrez!”. This is the name of a bright piece for two cellos and string orchestra by the contemporary Italian composer and cellist Giovanni Sollima. The “queen” of the new program of the ensemble of soloists “Classic-Avant-garde” will be the cello, the magic of its sound, the richest timbre possibilities and new modern colors.

The bright and talented soloist of the ensemble, cellist Yulia Rozhkovskaya will present her magnificent performing art, will perform in several guises: in a chamber duet with pianist Veronika Kunichkina, a cello duet with Alexander Ivanov and accompanied by the ensemble “Classic-Avant-garde”.

The concert will feature: sonata for two cellos and piano by G.F.Handel, Three Fantastic Pieces for cello and piano by R.Schumann, cello sonata by F.Bridge, concerto for two cellos and string orchestra by A.Vivaldi, the piece “Violoncelles, Vibrez!” for two cellos and string orchestra by G.Sollima.

Yulia Rozhkovskaya graduated from the Republican College of Music at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Belarusian State Academy of Music and the Master’s program at it. She took part in international festivals, master classes of leading world musicians: J.Pernod (France), E. den Herder (Netherlands), A.Mignet (France), M.Brunello (Italy), A.Bonduryansky (Russia), A.Buzlov (Russia). Laureate of international competitions, leads an active concert activity.
