On December 5, in the Big Hall of the Philharmonic, one of the most prominent representatives of the Belarusian piano school, a musician whose name has long been associated with the Belarusian piano duet – Natalia GROMOVA – will present her benefit program “SOLO. DUET. ORCHESTRA”. This evening, the pianist will be a soloist in two concerts for piano and orchestra and in two concerts for two pianos and orchestra with the support of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus under the direction of Yuri Karavaev and the pianist’s constant duet partner Valery Borovikov.
Beauty and talent, emotions and style, expression and virtuosity will reign on the stage this evening.
The concert program is interesting for its combination of romance and jazz. Fantasy on the themes of Ryabinin by the “last lyricist of Russian piano music” A.Arensky, the most popular “zoological fantasy” by C.Saint-Saëns “Carnival of the Animals” with easily recognizable “Swan”, “Aquarium” and other “characters”, Belarusian jazz by G.Wagner and the brilliant “Jazz Suite” by A.Tsfasman.
