The Chief Conductor of the National Academic Folk Orchestra of Belarus named after I.Zhinovich, the People’s Artist of the Republic of Belarus, a laureate of State prize, Professor Mikhail Kozinets celebrates 80th anniversary in this year. The maestro prepares a range of concerts entitled “Musical marathon of Mikhail Kozinets”. The last concert of this musical epopee will take place on the stage of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on 23 November. The huge show with the participation of stars of academic and variety arts is a real gift for music addicts. At the invitation of Mikhail Kozinets the leading soloists of the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus: people’s artists of the Belarus Nina Sharubina and Anastasia Moskvina, laureates of the international competitions, finalists of the TV project “Grand Opera” Ilya Silchuk and Yuri Gorodetsky will sing accompanied by the National Academic Folk Orchestra of Belarus named after I. Zhinovich and conducted by Mikhail Kozinets.
In the second part of the gala concert, which will be an eventful of star names, Maestro Kozinets will present the best examples of variety art music. Also on the concert will perform the soloists of the orchestra, laureates of the international competitions, singers Marina Vasilevskaya and Igor Zadorozhny, brilliant dulcimer players Alexandra Denisenya, Galina Lozovik and Marta Golubko, virtuoso button accordion-player Denis Cherny, famous showman and author of the project “The drummers show” Sergey Sheptunov. The Grand Prix winner of the International Festival of Arts "Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk" Petr Elfimov invited as special guest.
Almost all the participants of the concert in the past graduated the Belarusian State Academy of Music when it was headed as rector Mikhail Antonovich Kozinets. It was he, who gave many of them a start in life. Now they are true masters of academic and variety art performance. The invitation of Mikhail Kozints to participate in his anniversary concert for these famous artists is a great opportunity to extend theirs gratitude to the Maestro for his love of music and people of art.
The audience will meet with a "music for all seasons". There will be excerpts from classical operas, arias from operettas, romances, popular variety art songs by Vladimir Mulyavin, Igor Luchenok, David Tukhmanov and many other composers.
