The programs offered by the master of the world-famous St.Petersburg conducting school Vyacheslav Bortnovsky are always distinguished by originality and elegance. So in the concert on November 30, the maestro invites us to immerse ourselves in the world of dreams and spiritual pleasures. The range of stylistics of musical “delights” extends from the brightest representative of the avant-garde direction of the XX century, Alfred Schnittke (Concerto Grosso No.1) to the outstanding classic of Puerto Rican pop culture, Rafael Hernandez (El Cumbanchero).
Of undoubted interest in the program are several compositions by the world-famous Israeli clarinetist virtuoso, Klezmer music legend Gior Feidman (“Lets be happy”, “Sholem Alekhem”).
Perhaps for the first time in the concert hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society , the composition of one of the classics of Chinese musical culture of the XX century, Xian Xinghai, embodied in the format of a concert for piano and orchestra, will be performed.
Several compositions by the world-famous master of argentine tango Astor Piazzolla (“Adios Nonino”, “Libertango”) and the incendiary Chardash by P.Iturralde, filled with charisma and passion will complement the enjoyment of sophistication and diversity of national musical cultures.
For gourmets of film music, the program will feature two soundtracks from the films “Schindler’s List and “The Godfather”.
