December 1, 2022 in the Small Hall named after G.Shirma will host a bright musical premiere – the concert “Time, forward!”, dedicated to the musical creativity of Georgy Sviridov.
Georgy Sviridov’s music is a classic of Soviet art of the 20th century. The musician and composer of great talent has always considered himself the son of his land, born and raised under her sky. That is why each of his compositions is inextricably linked with the rich traditions of Russian musical culture, its depth and harmony.
Traditionally, vocal music is considered the main “genre” in the musical creativity of Sviridov. It combined his amazing sense of verse, depth of understanding of poetry and rich melodic talent. And it was the laws and intonations of the Russian folk song that turned out to be the basis of the composer’s instrumental music.
