The name of People's Artist of Belarus Mikhail Kozinets will forever go down in the history of the musical culture of Belarus. On November 23, 2023, a concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Maestro will be held at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. In the year of the 90th anniversary of the Belarusian Union of Composers, the National Academic Folk Orchestra of Belarus named after I.Zhinovich, who headed Mikhail Kozinets for almost half a century, will perform the best works of Belarusian composers Dmitry Smolsky, Andrei Mdivani, Evgeny Glebov, Valery Ivanov, Viktor Pomozov, Vyacheslav Kuznetsov, Alexander Kremko, Alina Bezenson, which have become the hallmarks of the collective. Many of these works were written by order of maestro Kozinets and were first performed by the orchestra under his leadership in different years. On the anniversary memorial evening, these works will be performed by the best virtuoso soloists of the orchestra and the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.

The concert will be conducted by the orchestra's permanent presenter, musicologist Olga Brilon.
