The Rules for using the services of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society
1. Scope of application
1.1. These rules govern the legal relations between the audience and the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (hereinafter - the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society). These are an integral part of the agreement automatically entered into the parties when purchasing entry tickets to the concerts.
1.2. These rules are valid both for individuals and for organizations and their members when purchasing entrance tickets for cash and cashless payments, if this does not contravene other applicable supplementary agreements.
2. Ticket office opening hours
The ticket office located in the building of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (Independence Ave., 50) operates:
daily from 10.00 to 20.00, a lunch break from 14.00 to 15.00, short technical breaks (15 minutes) during the working day. The phone number is +375 17 331 16 17.
The ticket office located in the metro underpass (metro station Y. Kolas Square) is open from 9.00. to 19.00. The phone number is +375 17 284 67 01.
The special changes in the ticket office work chedule are announced further.
3. Programmes and timing of concerts
Programmes of current concerts are available on the repertoire posters and on the website of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (www.philharmonic.by). The philharmonic society reserves the right to make changes to the posters. After the concert has begun, visitors are pernitted to enter the auditorium and occupy empty seats only during pauses or intermission.
4. Booking and pre-sale of tickets.
4.1 Ticket Booking.
In case of availability of the tickets for sale they may be booked by spectators on the website of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, as well as at the ticket office by phone + 375 17 331 16 17. One-time booking fee is not charged. According to the rules, one individual may book no more than 10 tickets on the site and purchase them at the box office of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society within 1 business days. Delivery of tickets is not available.
4.1.1 How to book tickets
After the publication of the consolidated repertoire poster of the organization, one can reserve tickets to the programmes announced in the poster on written application or by phone. +375 17 2844433. Tickets can be ordered by a written request, sent by fax to +375 17 284 32 02, or by email to bgfbiletstol@tut.by.
4.1.2 Payment methods
Tickets can be paid by individuals at the box office of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society either in cash or using payment cards.
4.2 Pre-sale of tickets at the box office of the Philharmonic Society
Pre-sale of tickets to concerts is carried out at all ticket offices of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, theatre and concert ticket offices of the city, freelancers responsible for the sale of concert tickets. On the first day of pre-sale, you can only buy two tickets per person for a particular concert. Since the second day there are no restrictions. Entry tickets to sold-out concerts, if necessary, can be sold only on the day of the concert an hour before it starts.
4.3 Changing and returning of tickets
According to the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Culture (No. 413-3 dated July 20, 2016) entry tickets can be returned on the initiative of a citizen or legal entity no later than one calendar day prior to the day of the cultural and entertainment event. Also, the citizen or legal entity who returned the entry ticket is reimbursed 75 percent of the cost of the entry ticket.
In case of a change in the cast of the participants of a cultural and entertainment event, the cancellation, change of the announced time (dates) and (or) of the venue of the cultural and entertainment event, its replacement with another:
1. a citizen has the right to attend this cultural and entertainment event with an existing entry ticket (with the exception of the case of cancellation of a cultural and entertainment event);
2. A citizen, a legal entity has the right to return an entrance ticket and receive monetary compensation for the cost of an entrance ticket in full.
Tickets sold via bank transfer to the legal entities are not accepted to be refunded to the individuals.
In case of cancellation of the event, tickets are accepted at the box office of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (Independence Ave., 50) within 5 working days after the scheduled concert.
In case of late return of tickets, requests for refund cannot be satisfied.
Tickets are not subject to exchange.
4.4 Loss of tickets
The Belarusian State Philharmonic Society does not issue duplicates and does not refund the cost of lost tickets.
4.5 Resale of tickets
Public and commercial resale of tickets is prohibited. However, this restriction does not apply to persons engaged in the official distribution of tickets, as well as to the persons carrying out the legal resale of consignments of tickets to certain public organizations or groups of people. Resale of tickets for concerts on the premises of the Philharmonic is prohibited.
4.6 Booking fee
One-time booking fee is not charged.
4.7 Subscriptions
Each subscription to the philharmonic concerts is valid for one concert season and for one corresponding seat.
The price for the subscription includes the amount of the cost of tickets.
Subscription tickets are and non-refundable and not a subject for exchange.
Change of the dates of the concerts of the subscription cycle, changes in the programme of the concerts or the cast of the participants cannot be the reason for the return of the subscription tickets. Regardless of organizational or personnel reasons, the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society reserves the right to adjust and change the schedule of concert programmes.
5. Cloakroom
Coats and other things should be left free of charge in the lower floor of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Hall in the designated place (a cloakroom). Clothes, oversized bags and packages, other hand luggage, exceeding the allowable size, handed over to a cloakroom, are insured against loss and returns in the same condition as they were handed over. It is forbidden to bring distracting, noisy objects, luggage, radio telephones, animals into the hall.
6. Lost and Found
Any items found in the premises of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society must be delivered to the administrator's office (No. 126 - the right side of the hall of the Great Concert Hall). In case of loss of things, it is necessary to contact the managers, administrators, on-duty guards.
7. House Rules
Entrance to the auditorium is allowed only if there is a ticket for this event.
Spectators are allowed into the building of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society 45 minutes before the beginning of the concert. In winter time - 60 minutes before the beginning of the concert.
If it is detected that your ticket is fake, you will not be allowed into the concert hall, no refund or any other compensation will be made.
Visitors may be denied entry to the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society (or they may be removed from the premises of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society) if they interfere with the event, work in concert halls, disturb the listeners and cause disturbances to their audience, annoy others, have an untidy look or occupy a place for which they do not have a ticket.
The entrance to the auditorium for the persons being intoxicated, under the influence of narcotic or medicinal products is strictly prohibited.
In case of detection of duplicate tickets for the same places, you should contact the administrator, who is to resolve the situation and offer to take other places.
7.1 Appearance
The one isn’t obliged to follow a strict dress code and casual clothing is permissible. Nevertheless, clothes should be neat and comply with socially accepted moral and ethical standards. Spectators in dirty and crumpled clothes, sports suits, and also men in shorts and sports shorts, women in details of a bathing suit are not allowed in the hall.
7.2 Security
It is security professionals whose concern is your safety. The building is under video surveillance, the guard on duty is always located in the lobby at the entrance or in the lobby of the Great Hall, at the guard post (service entrance) of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
When visiting the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, it is forbidden to bring weapons, ammunition, flammable substances, piercing and cutting objects, as well as objects that affect the sense of smell or aesthetic feelings of other viewers.
Hand luggage (backpacks, large bags, bags, items) with the exception of small personal items, briefcases and handbags is given to a cloakroom.
If necessary, handbags, briefcases and other personal belongings that are allowed to be brought into the hall, on the request of security officers, should be showed opened.
When entering the concert hall, it is a request to turn off cell phones.
7.3 Children
Entrance to the concert hall with children under the age of 3 years is not allowed for evening concerts.
Children 3 years old can attend the concert for free.
It must be purchased a separate ticket for the child over the age of 5 .
On New Year’s children’s performances, children under the age of 3 years have free of charge entrance.
7.4 Animals
A visit to the Belarusian State Philharmonic with animals is prohibited.
7.5 Food, drinks
Entrance to the concert hall with food and drinks is prohibited.
7.6 Third Call Rule
Entrance to the stalls of the auditorium after the start of the concert is strictly prohibited. If the one is late, he can take the seats in the stalls only during the intermission.
It is prohibited to move around the concert hall during the performance, unless it is caused by personal sanitary reasons.
7.7 Shooting and recording
Production of photos, videos and sound recordings of any kind is strictly prohibited. The Belarusian State Philharmonic Society reserves the right to allow recording, filming or broadcasting of some concerts.
7.8 Work of journalists and media
Non-accredited journalists are not allowed in the hall.
Accreditation is carried out by prior written request from the media administration. Accreditation of a journalist does not ensure the right for a seat in the hall.
Passing of accredited journalists is carried out through the service entrance according to the lists agreed upon with the Belarusian State Philharmonic Administration in advance and upon presentation of an identity document.
7.9 Flowers
It is allowed to enter the concert all with flowers.
The order of giving the basket of flowers to the artist is to be stipulated in advance with the Concert Hall Manager, who can always be found in the lobby of the concert halls before the start of the concert.
7.10 Autograph session and greetings
Autograph session and acceptance of greetings by artists is carried out only with the consent of the artists and provided that the order and venue for conducting these procedures were agreed to by the managers or administrators of concert halls.
8. Consent and consutation
It is assumed that visitors, when purchasing tickets or subscriptions to concerts of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, have consulted the main provisions of these Rules for using the services of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society and have adopted them.
9. Effective Date
The Rules for using the services of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society come into force on February 1, 2012.
