Dmitry Titov is a prominent representative of the younger generation of Belarusian musicians, whose name is already firmly associated with high performing mastery. A graduate of the Belarusian State Academy of Music, since 2017 he has been a soloist of the Concert and Touring Department of the Belarusian State Philharmonic.

A virtuoso domra and mandolin player, Dmitry has gained recognition not only in Belarus but far beyond its borders. His playing captivates audiences with a rare combination of natural musicality, depth, and spontaneity, while his serious approach to the profession makes every performance a bright event.

The musician's talent has been noted by the Special Fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the Support of Talented Youth. He has victories and diplomas from the most prestigious competitions, including:

  • 1st Prize at the VI International Competition "Golden Lyre of Polesie" (Gomel, 2018);
  • 1st Prize at the X Russian Competition named after S.V.Rachmaninoff (Veliky Novgorod, 2011);
  • 1st Prize at the XVII International Competition named after A.L.Repnikov (Petrozavodsk, 2015);
  • 3rd Prize at the VII International Competition named after V.V.Andreev (St. Petersburg, 2012);
  • 2nd Prize at the III International Competition named after S.Saidashev (Kazan, 2014);
  • 1st degree diploma at the I All-Russian Open Competition named after A.B.Shalov (St. Petersburg, 2015);
  • diploma winner at the International Competition named after J.Kuwahara for solo mandolin (Schweinfurt, Germany, 2018).

Dmitry Titov's touring geography covers Poland, Estonia, Germany, Slovenia, Italy, and the Czech Republic. He has collaborated with such outstanding musicians as Ricardo Sandoval (Venezuela / France), Matthias Collet (France), Cathy Lasso (Colombia), Vincent Beer-Demander (France), Sabine Marzé-Valet (France), and Natalia Korsak (Belarus / France). He took an active part in recording CDs with works by German composers Herbert Baumann and Elke Tober-Vogt.

Dmitry Titov is the organizer of the creative musical and educational project "Folk Strings," aimed at developing Belarusian domra and mandolin performance. Since September 1, 2023, Dmitry Titov has been the artistic director of the mandolin-guitar orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of Music. Under his leadership, the ensemble leads an active creative life, regularly presenting solo programs in the Grand and Small Halls of the Belarusian State Philharmonic. These concerts have become significant events in the musical life of the capital, revealing to listeners all the richness and expressiveness of the sound of the mandolin and guitar.
