Alexander Danilov was born on May 15, 1995 in Minsk (Belarus). He graduated from the Republican gymnasium-college under Belarusian State Academy of music (class of teacher I.I.Bartoshevich, Honored artist of the Republic of Belarus, professor Y.N.Gildyuk) (2013). In 2018 he graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Music, in 2019 – Master’s degree (class of Honored artist of the Republic of Belarus, professor Y.N.Gildyuk). Currently, he is an artist of the Honored Collective of the Republic of Belarus of the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, a soloist of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society.
He is a laureate of the VII Open Youth Delphic Games of the CIS member States (Astana, Kazakhstan, 2012, silver medal), the V International Piano Competition “Minsk–2014” (Minsk, Belarus, 2014, II prize), the XI International Competition of chamber ensembles named after M.K.Oginsky (Smorgon, Belarus, 2015, II prize), the V International instrumental competition named after E.F.Stankovich (Kiev, Ukraine, 2017, Grand Prix), the VIII International Competition of chamber ensembles named after J.Brahms (Gdansk, Poland, 2018, III prize), the III International Competition named after S.T. Richter (Brest, Belarus, 2019, I prize).
The musician is the winner of the first prizes of the IV and V Republican musical-theoretical Olympiads in Gomel (2010) and Grodno (2012). He was awarded the gratitude of the rector of the Belarusian State Academy of music for dedication in mastering the profession and contribution to maintaining the high prestige of the educational institution (2015, 2016), the diploma of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Finland for contribution to the development of Belarusian-Finnish relations in the field of culture (2016). He is a winner of the International music award of the Eurasian Economic Union “Belbrand Award” (2016), the title of “Best Employee of 2018” in the State Institution “Palace of the Republic”. He is a laureate (2013, 2015, 2018), scholarship holder (2010) and winner of the incentive award (2016, 2017) of the special fund of the President of the Republic of Belarus for the support of talented youth.
The pianist has repeatedly performed as a soloist with the State Academic symphony orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, the Symphony Orchestra of the Belarusian State Academy of music, the Russian-Belarusian Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Presidential Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus. He has collaborated with such conductors as Ivan Kostyakhin, Igor Bukhvalov, Yuri Galyas, Andrey Galanov, Andrey Ivanov, Vyacheslav Bortnovsky, Lyudmila Zhabinskaya, Viktor Babarikin and Vyacheslav Volich. Now he is actively performing not only in the Republic of Belarus, but also abroad: Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Ukraine, Serbia, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Estonia, Finland.
