Galina Gorelova is a laureate of the State Prizes of the Republic of Belarus in the field of music, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, member of the Union of Composers of Belarus, professor, head of the Composition Department of the Belarusian State Academy of Music.
G.Gorelova is a composer with her own musical language, writes vividly, interestingly, and with talent, and her works are appreciated by both performers and listeners.
In the program, we will present only one side of the composer’s multi-faceted talent – her chamber work. Works for solo instruments with a chamber orchestra will be performed. Many arrangements made by conductor L. Kalinovskaya will be performed for the first time. Dmitry Smolsky’s Chamber Symphony No.12, which will be performed by the orchestra – is a tribute to the teacher of G.Gorelova, Professor D.Smolsky.
